Evolution
Ahead of a momentous birthday this month, I spent 2024 pondering my future plans.
I'm fortunate to have been able to specialise for many years in executive coaching and, more recently, coaching supervision; I genuinely love what I do. Since launching Chelsham Consulting in 2013 I have also collaborated with others to deliver broader leadership events, inclusive leadership programmes, organisational consulting and large group facilitation.
I'm extremely proud of and grateful for the client list which I have managed to build for Chelsham. Thank you.
That said, the outcome of all that pondering is to choose a tighter future focus.
Over the last few months I have been working once more with the superb team at Ditto Creative to unpack what this all means and to devise my next transition.
It seemed to us that, put simply, I work with successful people, often very senior, who are setting a path for their next level of performance or a new era of success. I achieve their desired outcomes via deeply relational, mastery-level executive coaching and via trusted, ethical supervision for talented executive coaches.
One might say, the art of success.
So if this is the case, and if I am aiming for a more focused and simplified practice, then this drives change:
My exclusive focus is now executive coaching and coaching supervision.
I will be even more selective about with whom I work as a coach or supervisor.
There is no intention to change my 'T-shaped' sector focus: uncommonly deep experience and knowledge of professional partnerships including law & professional services firms, for example, combined with a cross-sector practice with valued clients in insurance, green energy, property and not-for-profit inter alia.
Inclusivity will always be one of my values but inclusion consulting is no longer a service offering, nor is broader organisational consulting.
Whilst I will still be able to refer clients to other coaches or related specialists, the company will be only me for the first time in eight years.
Therefore it makes little sense for the company to trade as Chelsham Consulting, a brand which has served me well, instead the business name is becoming simply TONY JACKSON.
The resulting evolution of my brand and visual identity drives this new website, fully live as of 7 January 2025.
This is a more significant change than it might seem at first glance, particularly in brand positioning, but current clients should notice little difference as I have been laying the groundwork for a while. A big change for me, possibly less so for you.
I hope you share my excitement about the new brand positioning & visual identity; this website in particular really has surpassed my expectations. It all marks a clear progression and is intended to be a bold statement, reflecting the fact that I see myself as at the top of my game right now. Long may that last as I intend to continue coaching for many years to come.
Thank you and please accept my very best wishes for the year ahead.
